Numa is the Greek word for spirit. This name compliments our coffee bar's intention – to will good for others. Although numa does not have a permanent space to reside, the spirit of numa moves wherever it goes. Our practices of presence and care are not bound to one location, but we aim to demonstrate them anywhere.
Numa is a specialty coffee cart founded by Nathan Hanna and Seth Allen in the spring of 2022.
Numa exists to bring a little more presence, delight, and excellence into the world. We're serious about coffee, but we're even more serious about having a good time with the folks around us.
Numa has the privilege of serving the West Seattle community through pop-ups at Driftwood Restaurant and celebrating at private events all over the city.
